Layered Lettuce Salad

  • One head of lettuce
  • 1 cup celery, chopped
  • 1/2 cup green peppers, chopped
  • 1/2 cup onions, chopped
  • One package frozen peas
  • 2 cups mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoon sugar
  • 6 chopped hard-boiled eggs
  • 4 oz shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 lb. fried bacon; crisp and crumbled


  1. Start with lettuce and layer ingredients; finishing with bacon.
  2. Refrigerate overnight.
  3. Serve with croutons if desired
  4. Enjoy!
