Magic bands, this accessory is something of a technological wonder, serves as a resort room key and be loaded with theme park in water park admission tickets. You can also use it to make purchases throughout Walt Disney World (provided the magic band is backed up with a credit card and a personal PIN code has been selected); use it for for for Disney's photo pass; FastPass+ and more. To me, to use it to make a purchase in a shop or restaurant just tap the not so hidden Mickey on the band to the Mickey head on the console. Magic bands are free for guests at Disney owned and operated resorts, the standard version comes gray, but may be customized one of the eight different colors, recommended using different colors for each member of your party. Bands customized 11 or more days ahead of arrival will sent to your home. Bands customized within six to 10 days of your visit will be sent to your Disney owned and operated resort. Bands ordered within five days cannot be customized and may be picked up at your resort's front desk.
