The Idea of escaping family life by signing up for a Craft Retreat excites me and more and more crafters every year. These crafters usually are a click of friends that have been going to the same craft retreat as a group for years. But what if you love to craft but have no friends that can get away or have the funds to do so, do you go by yourself or say to yourself I’ll stay home this time and just maybe I’ll find friends or family that would go with me the next time, knowing deep down that is a fantasy. Last Jan I decided to step outside of my comfort zone and sign up for a Craft Retreat at Camp Perkins.
