This is Probably the Biggest Sacrifice I've Made for My Business

You guys know I’m all about the freedom side of entrepreneurship.

In fact, I’ve always been more motivated by the idea of freedom—freedom to choose how I spend my time, freedom to travel when I want, and freedom to be fully present with the people I love—than by the money part of business.

So when I first started building my business, I pictured endless beach days, spontaneous trips, and afternoons laughing with friends over iced lattes. Sounds dreamy, right?

But here’s the truth they don’t always tell you…

Those freedom perks? They’re hard-earned.

And when you have big dreams (like I know many of you do!), they require big sacrifices. The one I’ve been feeling most lately?

👉 My social life. Or more accurately... the lack of it. (lol)

My Bestie who is also my hubby has to remind me constantly to come up for air. I get so deep in creating, planning, building, and dreaming that I sometimes forget to just be human and have fun.

The work/life balance thing? Yeah, still working on that.

But even in the thick of it all, there’s nothing I love more than a cozy evening with my hubby and dogs,  lunch dates with my peeps from the Crafter's Market  or calls with my daughter who just get it.

Because my time is super limited right now, I’ve had to learn to be really selective with how (and who!) I spend it with. I now only say “yes” to people who lift me up, who make me better, and who show up for me in ways that matter.

Even if I don’t see them as often as I’d like, I value those connections more than I could ever put into words.

So today, I’m raising a virtual glass to the people who stick by us—even when we’re busy chasing wild dreams. 💕

✨ Who’s that person in your corner right now?
✨ Tag them in the comments and let them know how much they mean to you.

Let’s celebrate the ones who keep showing up. 💖
