Blog post (Shopify-ready)
Hey Sparkle Squad (and my fellow makers)! 💖✨
If you’ve ever said, “I want to post… but I don’t have time,” I’m raising my hand right next to you.
Running a one-person business means you’re the designer, maker, photographer, packer, shipper, customer service rep, and the social media department… all in one cute little human body.
So today I’m sharing something that has helped me stay consistent without burning out:
My 10-minute daily social media routine.
It’s simple. It’s realistic. And it works even on the days you’re tired, busy, or your brain feels like glitter in a windstorm.
The goal (keep this in mind)
This routine is not about going viral.
It’s about:
· Staying visible
· Staying connected
· Staying top-of-mind
· Building trust with your community
Consistency beats perfection every single time.
My 10-minute routine (set a timer and go)
Minute 1: Check messages + comments
Open your DMs and comments and do a quick scan.
Reply to anything that’s:
· A question
· A compliment (say thank you!)
· A customer photo/tag (celebrate them!)
Tip: If you can’t fully reply, at least react so people know you saw them.
Minutes 2–4: Post ONE thing (pick the easiest option)
This is the part that keeps you consistent. Choose one:
Option A: A quick photo
· A product you made
· Your table setup
· Your packaging
· Your supplies
Option B: A behind-the-scenes video (5–10 seconds)
· Beads on your desk
· You tying a knot
· A “before/after” of a piece
Option C: A text post
· A quick reminder
· A quote
· A “what I’m working on” update
If you’re stuck, use this template:
“Today in the studio: [thing]. I’m loving [detail]. If you want one made in your colors, message me 💖”
Minutes 5–6: Share a story (or a quick update)
Stories are perfect for the “real life” moments.
Ideas:
· “Packing orders!”
· “Making bracelets today!”
· “Market prep mode!”
· “Which one should I list first?” (poll)
You don’t need to be fancy. You just need to be you.
Minutes 7–8: Engage with 5 people
This is the secret sauce.
Go to your feed and interact with:
· Customers
· Local businesses
· Other makers
· People who comment on your posts
Leave real comments (not just emojis). Example:
· “That color combo is gorgeous!”
· “I love how you styled that!”
· “Congrats on the launch!”
Social media is social. Engagement is a two-way street.
Minutes 9–10: Save 1 idea for later
This is how you build a content bank without extra work.
Do one of these:
· Save a post you like (for inspiration)
· Write down a caption idea
· Snap a photo for tomorrow
Even one saved idea a day adds up fast.
If you have 2 extra minutes… do this
If you have a tiny bit more time, add a simple call-to-action:
· “Shop here: [link]”
· “Message me for a custom”
· “Come see me Saturday 11–3”
People want to support you—they just need to know how.
What to post when you don’t know what to post
Here are my go-to “never fails” ideas:
· A product photo + price + how to order
· A customer review screenshot
· A behind-the-scenes clip
· A “new make” sneak peek
· A quick tip (bracelet sizing, care, styling)
Make it even easier: pick a weekly theme
If you love structure, themes are magic:
· New-Make Monday
· Biz Tip Tuesday
· Quote Wednesday
· Product Spotlight Thursday
· Jewelry Tip Friday
· Market Saturday
· Customer Love Sunday
(Yes, I’m a theme girl. It keeps my brain happy.)
Call to action
If you’re a maker too, tell me: what’s the hardest part of posting for you?
· Finding time?
· Taking photos?
· Writing captions?
And if you’re here to shop, message me anytime for a custom piece—tell me your colors and your wrist size and I’ll help you sparkle. 💖✨
