Recipe from Taste of Home Quickcooking Book
Ingredients
- 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
- 1 tbsp prepared mustard
- 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp prepared horseradish
- 1 large egg
- 1/4 c dry bread crumbs
- 1/4 c finely shopped onion
- 1/2 tsp salt
- dash pepper
- 1 1/2 pd ground beef
- 1 to 2 tbsp canola oil
- 1/2 c water
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Directions
- In a bowl, combine soup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce and horseradish. Set aside. In another bowl lightly beat the egg. Add the bread crumbs, onion, salt, pepper and 1/4 c of the soup mixture. Crumble beef over mixture and mix well. Shape into six patties.
- In a large skillet, brown patties in oil; drain. Combine remaining soup mixture with water; pour over top. cover and cook over low heat 10-15 mins or until meat is no longer pink. Sprinkle with parsley.
