Tortellini Carbonara - a Taste of Home Recipe

Tortellini Carbonaro


  • 1 package (9 oz) refrigerated cheese tortellini
  • 8 bacon strips, chopped
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 chopped fresh parsley


  1. Cook tortellini according to package directions; drain
  2. Meanwhile in a large skillet, cook bacon over medium heat until crips; stirring occasionally; remove with a slotted spoon; drain on paper towels; poor off drippings
  3. In the same pan: combine cream, cheese, parsley and bacon; heath through over medium heat; stir in the tortellini; serve immediately
